Until now Enova Community Energy has serviced homes and businesses in regional and rural NSW on the Essential Energy network. We are now able to supply electricity to homes and businesses throughout NSW on the Ausgrid and Endeavour energy networks. This means we now cover all of NSW!

Our expansion plans continue, with views to retail electricity to South East QLD in 2020, then Victoria and South Australia.

Enova Community Energy CEO, Felicity Stening said,

This will enable community-owned large and small-scale renewable energy generation and storage projects. In addition, new energy models facilitating the generation, distribution, storage and sharing of energy through local energy trading, microgrids, virtual power plants and solar gardens will deliver sustainable and resilient communities. Enova is already creating local energy systems, and helping bring solar gardens and microgrids concepts to life.

The company’s growth plans will deliver 50% of profits (after tax and reinvestment) back to its not-for-profit arm for community renewable energy projects, such as solar gardens and microgrids.
