Liberation Larder was presented with a $3,750 cheque on Thursday, 1 August thanks to the generosity of new Enova customers, who have chosen for $50 to be donated to the much-loved food rescue organisation on their behalf, rather than receiving the $50 for themselves.
The cheque was presented by Enova Energy CEO Felicity Stening to Lizzie Jackson, President of Liberation Larder.
“We are utterly thrilled to be giving this money to such an important local institution in the Northern Rivers thanks to the generosity of our customers,” said Felicity.
“Our customers are willing to put themselves aside to support other local people in need. At the same time, they’ve chosen an energy provider that is actively making a difference to the local economy and to achieving a renewable energy future.”
Thank you all for your continued support! All new customers have the option to donate to Liberation Larder or The Black Dog Institute who work towards supporting mental health in Australia.
